The 4D Approach is the diagnostic framework that underpins every aesthetic consultation at 23MD. Rather than treating a single feature in isolation, we read the face across four dimensions, and only then propose a plan.
How it works
Skin
Quality, tone, texture, hydration, pigmentation. The surface tells you how cells, collagen and circulation are performing underneath.
Structure
Bone, fat compartments and ligaments. The architecture that determines proportion, balance and how the face changes over time.
Movement
Expression, muscle dynamics and resting tone. How a face animates is as defining as how it sits at rest.
Personality
Who you are, how you see yourself, and what looks like you. Aesthetics that ignore personality always read as treated.
