How does the HydraFacial work and what should you expect?

Sporting a smooth, bright, and youthful-looking complexion is the skincare goal of many. But sometimes, we need to go a little further than simply applying creams and serums in a multi-step routine and also explore the benefits of advanced facial devices. One of them is the HydraFacial, a treatment that is becoming so increasingly popular that one treatment is performed every fifteen seconds worldwide.

How does the HydraFacial work?

The award-winning HydraFacial follows a six-step treatment process – detox, cleanse and exfoliation, brightening, extraction, hydration, and rejuvenation.

The process begins with a specialist lymphatic drainage technique to increase circulation and eliminate toxins from the skin. Using a handheld device with a whirring vortex of water at its tip, the skin is then deeply cleansed and exfoliated of dead skin cells. A glycolic peel is then added to soften gunk and blockages in the pores before this is vacuumed out, leaving behind a smooth, clean canvas ready for the hydrating blend of vitamins, peptides and hyaluronic acid that follows next.

The final step involves a few minutes of soothing red LED light that calms the skin and stimulates collagen production.

What skin conditions can it improve?

The most impressive thing about the HydraFacial is that it appears to all ages, complexions, and concerns. It’s suitable for teenagers and adults with acne and congested skin, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, enlarged pores, dehydrated or dry skin and skin lacking in clarity and luminosity.

What should you expect in terms of results?
