    The Treatment

    Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a smooth gel made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your skin. Used carefully, fillers can restore softness and proportion to areas of the face that have lost their natural support over time.

When a face loses volume, it isn't always about wrinkles, it's often about subtle changes in shape that read as tiredness or heaviness. The right amount of filler, in the right place, simply gives the face back its proportion. The wrong approach inflates and distorts. At 23MD, the goal is always the former.

    The 4D Method

    Read across four dimensions

Every filler plan at 23MD begins with the 4D diagnostic framework. Rather than treating a feature in isolation, we read the face across Skin, Structure, Movement and Personality, and only then decide where, and whether, filler belongs.

    01

    Skin

Quality, tone, hydration and texture, the surface filler alone cannot correct.

    02

    Structure

Bone, fat compartments and ligaments, the architecture filler is designed to support.

    03

    Movement

Expression and muscle dynamics, how filler reads when the face animates.

    04

    Personality

Who you are and what looks like you, so results stay recognisable, never generic.

    About

What it is, how it works.

    How it works

A small, considered amount of filler is placed exactly where the face has lost support, a cheek, a jawline, a temple. The gel sits within the tissue and gently restores the contour that age, weight change, or genetics has shifted. The hyaluronic acid is identical in structure to what your skin already produces, so the body recognises and gradually breaks it down over many months.

    Why it matters

When a face loses volume, it isn't always about wrinkles, it's often about subtle changes in shape that read as tiredness or heaviness. The right amount of filler, in the right place, simply gives the face back its proportion. The wrong approach inflates and distorts. At 23MD, the goal is always the former.
